About us:
David Clark is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Wales
Swansea. David spent 25 years as a neuroscientist, his research
focusing on Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia and drug addiction.
He trained with Professor Arvid Carlsson, winner of the Nobel Prize
for Physiology and Medicine in 2000. He changed "career"
three years ago, due to an increasing interest in substance misuse.

David, Annalie, Ben and Sam
Sarah Davies, recently graduated in Psychology, is working full-time
on the development of the WIRED web community programme.
Anni Stonebridge is the Drug and Alcohol Development Officer for
the Aberdeenshire Alcohol and Drug Action Team. She is also working
with David towards a PhD on the impact of substance misuse on the
family.

Anni and Dougal
Sophie Capo-Bianco is working towards a Masters focused on prejudice
towards substance misusers. She is also involved in the families
project.
Keith Morgan is the Project Co-ordinator for the DOMINO (Development
of Motivation in New Outlooks) project at WGCADA in Swansea. He
is also a professional rock musician and sound engineer.

Becky Hancock is the Arrest Referral Worker for West Glamorgan
Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (WGCADA) in Bridgend. She has
a degree in Psychology and is currently undertaking a Masters with
David Clark.

Becky
Gemma Salter is a third year undergraduate student working with
Sarah on the impact of substance misuse on the family.
WIRED has been developed with the assistance of a wide range of
professionals, and access to an ongoing programme of support and
engagement with users and their families. A number of final year
students in the Department of Psychology, University of Wales Swansea
contribute to the Initiative.
